The jaggery should melt and get absorbed in the drumsticks and the water in the curry will turn into a thick liquid because of the jaggery. Serve hot with rice or rotis.
- Heat oil in a pan and add cumin seeds, mustard seeds, garlic, green chillies and saute it.
- Add curry leaves, onions, little salt, drumsticks, red chili powder and saute it, place lid cook it for 2 -3 minutes.
- Add little water and mix it cook again on slow flame for 5 minutes with lid on it.
