The Beetroot Puri is an attractive breakfast and snack recipe with fabulous flavors and beautiful colors.
- Take semolina in a bowl, add beetroot juice, salt, wheat flour and knead it into a stiff dough, if required even add a teaspoon of oil and knead well.
- Blend soaked poppy seeds and fresh coconut pieces into a fine paste.
- Heat oil in apan, add whole garam masala spices, curry leaves, chopped onions, salt and saute till onions slightly change in color.
- Now add turmeric powder, ginger garlic paste, drumstick pieces, chopped carrot, coriander powder, red chili powder along with some water and cook it.
- Then add chopped tomatoes andcook it with closed lid.
- Add boiled meal maker, prepared coconut and poppy seeds to paste, boiled potatoes and cook it for about 5 minutes.
- Now take small portions of dough, roll them into purisand deep fry in hot oil.
