- Heat sesame oil in a pan, then add grated jaggery, along with chopped amla and let it cook for about 1 minutes.
- When moisture comes out of them reduce the flame and cook for another 2 minutes. Later, transfer to a bowl.
- Heat sesame seed oil in another pan, when oil is hot, add mustard seeds, cumin seeds, fenugreek seeds, dry red chillies, hing, turmeric powder, garlic and mix it.
- Now, add curry leaves by reducing the flame. Then switch off the flame, add red chilli powder, and mix it.
- Later, transfer this tempering to the above amla mixture bowl along with salt and mix well.
- Rest it for about 1 hour and serve it hot with hot rice or roti.
