A simple curry made with soya chunks and potato. This is a low fat healthy version served with poori's and roti's.
- Take soya chunks and place in boiling water for 5 mins, squeeze water and keep aside.
- Heat pan and dry roast poppy seeds, cashew nuts, grated coconut and saute it, later transfer into blender and make a fine paste.
- Heat oil in the same pan, add onions, little salt, ginger garlic paste, turmeric powder, curry leaves and let it cook for half a minute. Then season with coriander powder, red chili powder and saute it.
- To it, add poppy seeds mixture paste, little water and mix nicely and saute it.
- Later add potato, little water cook it for 4 minutes with closed lid.
- Add soya chunks, chopped tomatoes, water and cook by stirring occasionally for about 2 minutes, check for seasoning.
- Then add garam masala, green peas. Place lid and cook it, later add coriander leaves and mix it well.
Now Soya and aloo kurma is ready to serve.
