- Heat oil in a pan add mustard seeds when they splutter and add red chili, cumin seeds, curry leaves, green chili, fenugreek seeds, asafoetida, turmeric, onion slices saute it and add radish pieces cook this for 2-3 minutes.
- Add tomatoes, the required amount of water, coriander powder, cumin powder, chili powder, coconut milk, put the lid on and let it cook for 20 minutes.
- Add tamarind juice, once it comes to boil add toor dal (boiled), chopped coriander cook for 5 minutes then switch off the flame.
Serve this with rice.
