Radish pappu charu is a traditional Andhra favorite nutritionally filled delicious recipe by adding radish it enhances the taste.
- Boil toor dal with little turmeric powder, water until mashy consistency and keep aside. Cut radish into roundels and keep aside.
- Heat oil in a pan, add mustard seeds, cumin seeds, dry red chilies, green chilies, crushed garlic and saute it.
- Add shallots, radish, turmeric powder, salt and mix it, later cook it for 3-4 minutes with the lid on it.
- Add tamarind juice, on high flame, add little water, red chilly powder and check for seasoning and boil it.
- Add boiled toor dal and mix, boil once.Now add coriander leaves and switch off the flame.
- Transfer to a bowl and garnish with coriander leaves.
Now radish pappu charu is ready to serve with plain rice.
