Momos are a classic delicacy prepared generally in the states of Tibet, Bhutan, Sikkim, Nepal, and Ladakh. Momo is a kind of filled dumpling indigenous to Himalayas of Tibet. This recipe is very much like the Mongolian Buuz or even the Chinese jiaozi.

they put eggs in the dough, the sour cream comes on top of the finished dish... and they use much more onions and fry them very brown !

this reminds me of a traditional Austrian dish called "Kärntner Nudeln" which are basically large Tortelloni filled with cheese and herbs. Unfortunately I don't know the exact recipe..
