SOYA KEEMA ALOO TIKKI

Ingredients used in SOYA KEEMA ALOO TIKKI
• Soya granules - 1 cup.
• Oil - 2-4 tablespoons.
• Garlic(chopped) - 1 tablespoon.
• Ginger(chopped) - 1 tablespoon.
• Onions(chopped) - 1 number.
• Salt - to taste.
• Turmeric powder - 1/4 tea spoon.
• Coriander powder - 1/4 tea spoon.
• Cumin powder - 1/4 tea spoon.
• Red chili powder - 1/2 tea spoon.
• Garam masala - 1/4 tea spoon.
• Chickpea flour - 1 tea spoon.
• Mint leaves(chopped) - 1 tea spoon.
• Coriander leaves(chopped) - 1 tea spoon.
• Lime juice - 1 tea spoon.
• Boil potato(grated) - 1 cup.
• All purpose flour - 2 tablespoons.
Method:
  • Take soya granules and place in boiling water for 5 minutes and squeeze water and keep aside.
  • Heat oil in a pan and add garlic, ginger, onions, salt, soya granules and saute it.
  • To it add turmeric powder, coriander powder, cumin powder, red chilli powder, garam masala and saute it.
  • Add chickpea flour, little salt and saute it.
  • Add mint leaves, coriander leaves, lime juice and transfer into mixie jar and blend into smooth paste.
  • Transfer into a bowl and take small dumpling and give a round shape.
  • In another bowl add mashed potato, salt and mix nicely and take small dumpling and make flat round shape, in it stuff above soya granule mixture and close the edges.
  • Press again into flat round shape tikki and coat it with all purpose flour and place it on hot tawa with little oil.
  • Cook it on both side and transfer into serving plate.

Now soya kheema aloo tikki is ready to serve.

One remembers of tikki part of chaats  when you really have craving for some spicy, tangy chatpata stuff to eat and prickle your taste buds.  Here is one of the most refreshing, cooling yet spicy, tangy and chatpata Healthy Aloo tikki Chat that will just keep you filling and your spirits high with its taste and varied flavours. This is a healthy and nutritious fresh chat, needs no cooking, easy to prepare and all ingredients are taken from every food group to keep it packed with vitamins and nutrients. It is a dish colourfully made by adding freshly  chopped onion, mashed potato  tomatoes, cucumber, coriander leaves, boiled pea nuts, added together and spiced with few finely chopped green chillies and flavoured with mint chutney, chaat masala, sweetened with chopped dates and a dash of lime juice drizzled over to give that extra zing and savor.

 Finally the dish is complete by adding in some toasted bread slices and mixes well and served. This gives a nice dense to the chaat and also keeps your stomach filling. This amazing and finger licking Healthy Corn Chat is oil free and is a great snack to have as a salad or as tea time snack. This mint gives a pleasant flavour to the chaat. Sweet and green chutneysare an integral part of most chaat recipes which enhances the flavours of the chaat. Normally you find this variety of snack prepared more often on the streets of North India. wonderful dish doubt on soya . do we need to.soak the soya over night and then boil it before we proceed further with preparation ??
