The drumstick leaves are extremely healthy and they contain proteins, vitamins and minerals. They act as antioxidant and protect cells from damage. These leaves also have anti-bacterial and anti-septic properties hence they are sometimes used to clean wounds. They also aid in curing breathing disorders and hiccoughs.
