Apple Jalebi is an amazing deep fried fritter soaked in rosy fragrant syrup. Freshly sliced apples coated with flavored flour, deep fried until crisp and golden and glazed with the sweetness of sugar syrup, served hot with frozen cold ice cream is a divine dessert to all the sweet tooth lovers. This is a brilliant variation of the normal Jalebi that most of love to eat. Jalebi is one of the most popular sweet in India, Pakistan, Nepal and Bangladesh.
It is a deep fried sweet made from maida flour and then soaked in sugar syrup. Jalebis looks attractive and is tempting to eat as they are bright orange or yellow in colour pretzel shaped and a pleasant shine over. A well made Jalebi has a tart element with a sweet taste is mostly served for auspicious occasions, wedding, festival or birthday parties. It goes extremely well with vanilla ice cream.
Serve Apple Jalebi hot with a cold ice cream, its tickles the palate with a nice crispness from the deep fried apple and chewy texture with crystallized sugary exterior coating. The sugars get partly fermented which adds flavor to the dish.
