Potatoes in yogurt curry or Aloo Dahi wala is boiled potato cubes sauteed in oil and added to a mildly spiced yogurt based gravy. A very simple and delicious recipe made in no time.
- First boil the potatoes and cut them into quarters then saute them in oil for 1-2 minutes.
- Heat 1 tablespoonof mustard oil in a pan, add mustard seeds, cumin seeds and let it splutter.
- Then add turmeric powder, hing, salt and mix well.
- In the same pan, add red chili powder, curd at a time and stir it.
- Then add potatoes (boiled and saute in oil) to it, add chopped coriander leaves, give a boil and switch off the flame.
Serve this hot with rice, or chapattis.
