Omurice is a popular contemporary Japanese fusion creation blending Western omelet and Japanese fried rice. It’s usually enjoyed at home but also can be found at many Western food dinners in Japan.
- Take a bowl add eggs, salt and whisk it nicely.
- In a hot nonstick pan sprinkle oil and pour the eggs mixture.
- Then add oil to the sides and sprinkle black pepper powder on top it.
- After a minute switch off the flame and take out the omelet.
- Transfer into the silicon mold and keep it a side.
- Take a pan add butter, chopped garlic, chopped onions and saute it.
- Then add chopped green pepper, chopped yellow pepper, chopped red pepper, salt, black pepper and saute it.
- Add cooked basmati rice mix it and saute it.
- After that switch of the flame and add grated cheese, mozzarella cheese and mix it.
- Later transfer on omelet mold and press it nicely.
- Then add spring onions on top of it and wrap the omelet.
- Steam it in oven and leave it for 15minutes.
- After 15minutes take out the mold and demold it in a serving plate.
- Cut into pieces.
Now omelet and cheese garliky rice is ready.
