Thepla is very staple food in every Gujarati household. There are many different kinds of theplas. Bottle gourd theplas is a healthy snack that is full of protein, calcium and fibre.
- Peel and grate the bottle gourd then squeeze the water.
- Take a bowl, add 1 cup grated bottle gourd, coriander leaves, red chili powder, turmeric powder, cumin powder, finely chopped onions, salt, wheat flour, chickpea flour, 1 teaspoon of oil and mix thoroughly.
- Add yogurt in small quantities to it, mix thoroughly and make a stiff dough.
