Bellam Paasham is one of the favorite South Indian dish made during Ganesh festive season.
- Take a bowl and add wheat flour, jaggery water syrup, water and mix nicely to make a dough.
- Divide the dough into 3 portion to make 3 shapes.
- With one portion of dough and take small piece and make roll into short strings with finger like as shown in video.
- Place them in a plate which dusted with flour.
- With second portion and make a small round balls and place them in same dusted plate.
- With third portion dust some rice flour and roll into sheet.
- Cut into diamond shape and place them in same dusted plate, Later cook in boiling jaggery water pan and cook it.
- Once it is cooked add cardamom powder, fennel powder, fresh coconut, dry coconut, cashew nuts and mix nicely.
- Make a rice flour slurry with rice flour and water and mix it, and add to above sweet and cook for 2 minutes.
- Transferring into serving bowl and add pour little ghee and mix it.
Now sweet jaggery paasham is ready to serve.
