This South Indian dry masala mix is excellent served with Idlies or Dosa, which are quite bland by themselves. It spices them up. Sprinkled on hot buttered toast or crumpets, it’s divine! As you can imagine from it's name, it is VERY, VERY HOT!
- Take a pan and add curd, urad dal, channa dal, pepper, cardamoms, cloves, mustard seeds, moong dal, toor dal, fenugreek seeds, rice, red chilies, tamarind, garlic, hing, curry leaves.
- Saute all these nicely for 3 minutes on a medium flame. Then take it to a plate.
- Take idly batter, lightly stir the batter, before you begin to make dosa.
