Semiya Upma also known as vermicelli upma is a quick and easy to prepare tasty breakfast with veggies included it makes a wholesome.
- Heat ghee in a pan add semiya and roast it and keep it aside.
- In the same pan add ghee, mustard seeds, when mustard seeds are splutter, add chana daal, Urad daal, cashew nuts, saute it till daals are slightly brown.
- Add chopped ginger, chopped green chilly, curry leaves, hing, turmeric powder, chopped onions, salt, saute it for a minute and add carrot, potatoes, green pea, sweet corn, mix it well.
- Add water, once it comes to boil add semiya, mix it and put the lid on let it cook for 2 minutes, then sprinkle the lime juice, coriander chopped put the lid on and let it cook for one more minute the switch off the flame.
Serve this with sesame seeds chutney.
