It's a great combination of bottlegourd and curd. Served with Rice
- First, peel and chop the bottle gourd into small pieces
- In a vessel boil some water and add the bottle gourd pieces, salt and put the lid on and let it cook till the bottle gourd pieces are tender.
- In a blender add green chili, ginger, mustard seeds, some raw coconut pieces, 2 bunches of coriander leaves and 2 to 3 teaspoon of yogurt and blend it all together and make a coarse paste, pour this into a bowl.
- In this add a cup of yogurt, salt and mix it well and also add cooked bottle gourd pieces.
- Heat oil in a pan for seasoning, add red chili, cumin seeds, fenugreek seeds, urad dal, a pinch of turmeric powder, hing and curry leaves fry for a minute then pour this tempering on the top of the bottle gourd and yogurt chutney and mix it well.
serve this chutney with Rice or Roti.
