- Take a mixie jar and add chana dal, toor dal, sprouted moong dal, ginger paste, garlic, salt and grind it.
- Make round balls and shallow fry in oil.
- Another mixie jar add coconut, green chilies, poppy seeds, cashew nut and blend into a paste.
- In the same oil pan add onions, whole garam masala, ginger garlic paste, salt, tomato and saute it.
- Add turmeric powder, coriander powder and poppy seeds mixture paste, water and mix nicely and boil it with the lid on it.
- Add soaked basmati rice and cook with the lid on it.
- When it 90% cooked arrange shallow fried koftas on top and cook it for 5 minutes, with the lid on and rest it for 7 minutes.
Now dal kofta pulao is ready to serve.
