Cheese straws are a traditional food of the Southern United States. They are eaten as an appetizer or snack, They are made using a cookie press and dough made with butter, flour.
- In a bowl add all purpose flour, salt, sugar, lime juice and water, make it into a stiff dough, add 15 g of butter and knead it well, then let it rest for 15 minutes.

- Cut the required piece and roll into a thin sheet by using dry flour and apply milk on the sheet.
- On top of the sheet grate the cheese, sprinkle some chili powder.
- Cut the sheet into strips and twist the strips to look like a straw.
- place the straws in a tray and apply the milk. Pre heats the oven at 220-degree centigrade.
- Place the tray in the oven bake it for 20 minutes.
