This sweet and tangy South Indian sauce made with arbi ie colacassia is to be had and to be had with curd rice.
- Boil and peel Arbi cut them in length wide.
- Heat oil in a pan and fry the pieces of arbi and transfer to another plate.
- In thesame oil add red chilly, mustard seeds, fenugreek seeds, urad dal, curry leaves, wait till they splutter, add turmeric powder, chopped onion, ginger garlic paste, chilly powder, sambhar powder, and tamarind juice, then add some water and jaggery, cover it with a lid let it cook for 10 to 12 minutes.
- Now add arbi and mix it then cover it with a lid let it cook for 3-4 minutes and switch off the flame.
