Achari Gosht is a dish which can be preserved and had on a lazy day when you are not in mood to cook. This is prefect for your children who stay far from their home for work or studies but still can have mother's made food.
- In a pressure cooker, add oil,onion, salt till golden brown. Add turmeric powder, ginger garlic paste and cook till onions are brown.
- Add meat ,coriander leaves,chili powder and allow the meat to cook till 2-3 whistles (or as per the meat kind).
- For achari mixture ,take a pan add methi seeds(1/2 teaspoon),mustard seeds, cumin seeds, kalonji(1/2 teaspoon), chironji, saunf, dill seeds, fry them .
- Once cooked blend them . In a pan put oil, add cumin seeds,remaining methi seeds kalonji .Add the blended mixturecook till oil oozes out from the mixture. Add water from the cooked lamb cook achari mixture with lamb stock till it thickens.
- Add lamb to it, salt, yoghurt.Mix well. Simmer it for 10 mins, add pinch of sugar. Cook till oil is oozed out. Season it with coriander leaves,chillies, shredded ginger, lemon.
