This is a Kerela flour, recipe. Unniyappam's are sweet dumplings made mainly from rice, bananas, and jaggery.
- Soak the rice for 2 hours and strain the water completely and put in the blender and blend into a fine powder and transfer it into the siever.
- Now separate the fine powder and coarse powder.
- Take the blender and add jaggery and pepper and make the smooth paste and add banana and blend again to a smooth paste.
- Heat ghee in a pan and add dry coconut and saute it.
- Take the bowl and add fine powder, cardamom powder, coconut with ghee, wheat flour, jaggery mixture paste and add milk sufficient to make the unniyappam.
- Heat ghee in the unniyappam pan and pour the batter using a spoon and place the lid on it and cook it on both sides on slow flame.
