Sweet Potato Kebabs (Shakarkand ke Kebab) - Fabulous fun with veggies. A great alternative to meat kebabs.
- Heat butter in a pan, add cashew nuts and saute them.
- When cashew nuts get slightly colored, add roasted chana dal powder and cook it.
- Then add salt, green chili, mint, cardamom powder, white pepper powder and ginger powder. Mix it properly and switch off the flame.
- Now add boiled sweet potato, mash it and mix it like a dough. Divide the dough into equal portions, put them on the skewers.
- Pour the oil on the griddle (tawa). Once oil get heat put the sweet potato kababs on it and shallow fry them from the both sides on the medium flame.
- Once it get golden brown switch off the flame.
