This red variety sorrel leaves will give sour taste but good for health. Paratha prepared with it can be eaten directly without any pickle.
- Heat oil in a pan, add sorrel leaves, chukka kura, ginger, green chilies, cumin seeds and saute for 2 minutes.
- Transfer to a blender, add little water, salt and blend into a paste.
- Take a bowl, add wheat flour, sorrel leaves paste and mix nicely to make a soft dough, allow it rest for 5 minutes.
- Take small dumpling of dough and dust some flour, roll into round paratha.
- Place it on hot tawa and cook it on both sides using oil.
