Sago Moong Dal is one of the easiest and simple sweet dish with delicious sago, jaggery, and dry fruits.
- Soak sago and moong dal for 4 hrs.
- Boil Milk and add soaked moong dal and sago in it for 10minutes.
- Keep stirring it in between. When sago is cooked 80%, it becomes transparent add jaggery. Also, add a little bit of sugar, mix it and add cardamom powder.
- Cook it for another 10minutes and when it becomes thick switch off the flame.
- For tempering add ghee in a pan and add cashew nuts, badam, and chironji, saute for a while.
- Switch off the flame and add a pinch of salt. Transfer this tempering into the sweet and cook it for another 2-3 minutes with the lid on it.
- After 3-5 minutes just switch off the flame and after 10 minutes of resting serve it.
