OATS AND COCONUT PAYASAM

Ingredients used in OATS AND COCONUT PAYASAM
• Oats - 2-3 tablespoons.
• Freshly grated coconut - half cup.
• Sugar - half cup.
• Ghee - 1-2 tablespoons.
• Cashew nuts(pieces) - 1 tablespoon.
• Raisins - 1 tablespoon.
• Milk - 2 cups.
• Cardamom powder - 1/4 tea spoon.
• Water - as required.
Method:
  • Heat 1 teaspoon of ghee in a pan, add chopped cashew nuts, raisins and saute it till raisins are slightly puffed up.
  • Then add oats, freshly grated coconut and stir it for about 2 minutes.
  • Add milk along with water to adjust the consistency and cook it by stirring occasionally for about 5 minutes.
  • To it, add sugar and let it cook for about 2-3 minutes.
  • At last, season with cardamom powder and garnish with dry fruits.

Tasty Oats Coconut payasam is ready to serve.
