This is taste snack recipe prepared with aroma of that particular pita bread stuffed with falafel. In Arabic the word hummus is used to describe a dish or a dip made of ground chickpeas, tahini (sesame seed paste), lemon juice, and garlic, and often olive oil.
- Soak the chickpea overnight and boil it.
- Then transfer to a blender and grind to a coarsely paste.
- Take a bowl, add chopped onion, green bell pepper, yellow bell pepper, red bell pepper, green chillies, coriander leaves, prepared chickpea paste, salt and mix it nicely.
- Now, prepare small dumpling and give oval shape with hands.
- Heat oil in a pan and deep fry them, later transfer falafel into paper towel.
- Take the mixie jar, add dry roasted sesame seeds, garlic, lime juice, little salt blend it once.
- To it add 2 tablespoon of oil and blend it again, later add ½ cup boiled chickpea and blend again into smooth hummus paste.
- Cut the pita bread into two half so that it open like a pocket.
- In each pita pocket, place the chopped lettuce, tomato, onion, falafel, spread hummus.
- Then top it again with lime juice, julians of tomato, onion.
Now pita bread with falafel hummus is ready to serve.
