Starter dishes always make a significant place for lunch or dinner menu. This pepper chicken amazes us with its flavours of pepper to the simple fried chicken.
- Heat oil in a heavy bottom pan. Finely chop 3/4th of the large onion and fry it in the oil till onion is translucent.
- Add salt then add the chopped garlic and continue frying until the onions turn golden brown.
- Now add the turmeric and fry for 1 min. Reduce the flame to low and add chicken. Stir in the chicken till the onion and chicken are completely integrated. Increase the flame back to medium.
- Again add 1 tablespoon of freshly crushed pepper and 1/2 tsp of red chilli powder. Mix well till the chicken is completely cooked. There is no need to add any water as the chicken will leave out some water.
- Later add salt if needed. Once the chicken is a completely cooked turn off the heat.
- Cut the remaining 1/4th onion lengthwise finely and add to the chicken.
- At last, add 1 tablespoon of freshly crushed pepper. Mix well till all ingredients are integrated
