Yummy traditional roti pachadi with bell pepper is what my friend and I tried. Learn the recipe of Peanut and Red bell pepper chutney by vahchef.
- Heat pan and add oil to it, then add pea nuts and fry till they turn brown.
- Add red chilli and saute for max 15 secs.
- Seperate oil and pea nuts, red chilli now and in the same pan and oil, add asafatdia, cumin seeds, mustard seeds and fry on medium flame for half a min
- Then add choppedbell pepper, toss it for about 2 mins
- Now add tamarind, salt, turmeric powder, slowly toss them for about 1 min
- Cover the pan for about 4-6 min on medium heat. Till the bell peppers are just half cooked (not completetly). Let this cool.
- Add this mxture into mixie jar and grind into coarse paste.
- Now add chopped corianderand grind it into chutey paste.
Serve with roti or rice.
