This is a Andhra special dish, kanda bachali curry is spicy and tasty which is best eaten with rice.
- First peel yam and make into pieces.
- Clean and chop pohi leaves.
- Cook Yam and pohi leaves in a cooker for four whistles.
- Then blend it to make a paste and keep it aside.
- After that take a pan and heat oil then add tempering.
- Now add asafoetida, garlic paste and green chillies paste.
- Saute it thoroughly and add the blended paste.
- Add mustard seeds paste, lemon juice, salt and saute them.
- Switch off the flame and serve this curry with hot rice.
