Corn and Cheese with Saffron Sauce is an exotic dish made with corn and paneer in a flavorful sauce. Also called as Makai paneer zafrani.
- Fry Paneer cubes in hot oil till their colour is slightly changed.
- Heat oil in a pan, add cumin seeds, cardamom seeds, chopped garlic, juliennes of ginger, chopped onions, saute this till onions are golden in colour.
- Then add all-purpose flour to it, mix it.
- To it, even add milk in small quantities and keep mixing it.
- Now add salt, chopped green chilies, nutmeg powder let this come to a boil.
- In the same pan, add corn (boiled), cook it for about 2-3 minutes then add fried paneer cubes, chopped spring onions, chopped coriander leaves, grated paneer, saffron strands (soaked in hot water).
Serve this awesome rich dish with chapattis or pulka.
