Handwa is a version of indian pan cake, delicious to have at breakfast or as an evening snack. This can make a perfect recipe to pack for picnic's.
- Soak rice, dal in water for whole night. Grind rice, dal with finely chopped green chilies, ginger, garlic, and cumin seeds.
- Then add dahi along with water to make a fine paste of above all mixtures. Keep aside for 5-6 hour.
- In a pan heat oil add mustard seeds ,turmeric powder,hing, curry leaves.
- Spread it over above rice dal mixture. Add salt, chopped coriander leaves and mix well.
- Heat non steak pan ,spread some oil. Take some mixture. Spread into a thick circle. Cook on both sides with closed lid, till brown.
Serve hot with chutney.
