Fish curry in tamarind sauce is a tangy & spicy recipe popularly known as Chapala pulusu in the Andhra Pradesh state of India. Fish curry is well blended with tamarind juice and other spices. It is also called as Meen Kozhambu in the Tamil Nadu and Ke.
- Roast sesame seeds, fenugreek seeds, coconut powder. Fry onions and make the paste of both mixtures.
- Heat oil thenadd mustard, cumin, curry leaves, green chilies, ginger garlic paste and cook for few minutes.
- Add the paste of the ground spices and cook, add tamarind paste, coriander powder, cumin powder, chilli powder and even add tamrind juice and cook for 15 minutes. Once the sauce thickens add fish and simmer.
- Finish it off with coriander leaves and garam masala.
