This empanada recipe contains braised chicken, capiscum, and spices, surrounded by a flaky, buttery dough. These empanadas are tasty and is baked.
- Take a bowl and add all purpose flour, cooking soda, butter, pinch of salt and mix it,
- To it add vinegar, egg, little water and mix nicely to make to make a dough.
- Heat oil in a pan and add garlic, chicken and saute it.
- To it add red chili flakes, cumin powder, onion, salt and saute it.
- To it add green bell pepper, red bell pepper, yellow bell pepper and saute it.
- Add tomato ketchup, tomato sauce, mixed herbs and saute it for a 1 minute and add coriander leaves, switch off flame.
- Transfer into a plate. Once it become cool down add cheese pieces.
- Roll the dough into sheet and cut into round shape with round mould.
- Stuff cooked chicken mixture in the center and apply little water to edges and close with hand and fork.
- Place in baking tray and give egg wash to it.
- At last bake it 180 degree for 15 minutes.
Now empanada chicken is ready to serve.
