Mushroom Biriyani is simple and quick recipe to make which is healthy and also rich in flavors.
- Heat one tablespoon of ghee in a pan and saute onions and ginger garlic paste for 5 minutes . Then add the grounded green chillies and continue frying . Then add the tomatoes and fry till tomatoes are soft.
- Then add the sliced mushrooms with salt and saute for another 5 minutes. Finally add the shredded coconut, powdered spices ,cilantro leaves and mint leaves and mix well and simmer till thick.
- Heat the other tablespoon of ghee in a pot and add the rice.Stir fry till the rice is well coated with ghee and add 4 cups water. Cover and let it cook (You can add little turmeric powder for color and garam masala for taste at this point).
- Once the rice is completely cooked, add the mushroom masala to the rice .Stir well and serve with raita and pickle.
