Every lavish Indian dinner party is sure to have some tikkas. Paneer and capsicum marinated in a yogurt based marinade. Then skewered and grilled till brown.
- Take a bowl add refined flour, baking powder, baking soda, red chili flakes, salt, cumin powder, crushed dry mint leaves, oil, butter, half teaspoon chopped ginger, half teaspoon chopped garlic, green chilies, chopped coriander leaves, curd, lime juice, mashed potatoes and make it a dough.
- Then divide into portions.
- Roll it into round shape. Preheat the tawa then place roti on it.
- Cover it and leave it for 2-3 minutes.
- Flip them and roast it on both sides.
- After 3 minutes transfer into a plate.
- Repeat the same process for other roti's.
- Take a bowl add hung curd, half teaspoon chopped garlic, half teaspoon chopped ginger, chat masala, green chili paste, roasted bengal gram, roasted cashew nuts and mix it like a smooth paste.
- Then add elaichi powder, kasoori methi, lime juice, mustard oil, tandoori masala powder, salt, coriander leaves, regular oil and mix like a paste.
- Take paneer cubes and transfer into the prepared paste bowl.
- Coat with marinate and place it in a plate.
- Add capsicum cubes, mix well in marinate.
- Thread a piece of paneer followed by capsicum and finally by one more piece of paneer on a tooth pick.
- Repeat the same process for other tikkas.
- Grease a non-stick tava (griddle) with 2 tablespoon of oil.
- Place the prepared tikka on the tava (griddle) till they are golden brown in color from all the sides.
- Then transfer into a serving plate.
Chili paneer tikka is ready to serve.
