Chilli crab is a Singaporean seafood dish. Crabs are commonly stir-fried in a semi-thick, sweet & savory tomato and chili-based sauce.
- Take a bowl, add water, chicken stock powder, oyster sauce, chili garlic paste, soy sauce, vinegar, sugar. Mix well and keep aside.
- Heat oil in a pan, add chopped ginger, garlic, green & thai chilies, mix well and saute for a minute.
- Now add the crab pieces mix well.
- Pour the chicken stock mixture, mix well and once stock starts boiling, close it with a lid let it cook for 10 minutes.
- In a bowl, add cornstarch and litter water and mix it well. keep aside.
- After 10 minutes,remove the lid add spring onions, cornstarch mixture.
- Then beat one egg and add to this mixture into center. Don't mix it. Switch off the flame and cover it with lid. Let it rest for 5 minutes.
Delicious Chili Crab is ready to serve.
