An awesome and sizzling kind of dosa. These are easy to make and great for kids for lunch box or for a picnic.
- Soak rice, parboiled rice, urad dal, pressed rice, fenugreek seeds in water for about 4 hours, drain the water and blend to a fine paste. Keep this batter in a warm place to ferment for 12 hours and then use to make the dosa. Add a little salt and mix well.
- Add little oil in a pan and when it gets hot, add onion slices, slitted green chilies, turmeric powder and little salt and salt well.
- Add coriander powder, a pinch of garam masala and chili powder. Mix and then add bell peppers and toss for few seconds and then add tomatoes, mix and switch off the flame. Transfer to a plate and keep aside.
- Take a spoon full of batter and pour it on one side of the hot tawa and on the side spread one more dosa of the same size.
- Sprinkle some capsicum masala on one dosa and drizzle some oil on both dosa.
- Cover the dosas with a lid and just cook for few minutes. Take one side of the dosa and flip it onto the other dosa and fry (like a sandwich). Remove and serve it hot.
