This Apple Tart is a delicious combination of a shortbread crust, a cheesecake-like filling, cinnamon sugared slices of apples, and layered fruit jam.
- In a bowl flour and add butter then mix this mixture like a crumble with your fingers.
- Add powdered sugar, sprinkle some water and make it like a dough then keep it aside for 10 minute.
- Filling the tart-take apple slices in a bowl and add sugar, cinnamon powder then toss it, now add biscuit crumbs in it.
- Add chopped mint to it, toss it and keep it in a refrigerator covered for some time.
- Now take the dough make into portions and roll it with the help of dusting flour.
- Then take a round shape cutter and cut the dough.
- Take a detachable tart mold and dust it with flour.
- Now place the round shape dough on the tart mold and press it gently from sides.
- With the help of a knife make small pricks in to it and repeat the same process for all the tarts.
- Place the molds in baking tray and now add the apple mixture into the tarts.
- Bake them in oven for 180 degrees.
- Take any fruit jam and warm it slightly in room temp then cream it with little bit of water in it and keep it aside.
- Now take out the tarts from oven and brush them with jam on it.
- Garnish it with whipped cream or vanilla ice cream with a mint leaf.
