A delicious, yummy and mouth-watering soft Fruit cake dunked with luscious candied fruits/ dried fruits, nuts and spices that delights your palate with an amalgamation of its explicit ginger, cinnamon and vanilla flavours. A fantastic tea time treat to go with a slice of fruit cake.
- Preheat the Philips Airfryer at 180 degree centigrade for 3 minutes. Lightly grease a round cake tin and line it with a double layer of baking parchment.
- In a mixing bowl, add in the butter and cream the butter with a hand blender. Once the butter gets soft, add little by little powdered sugar and blend together until its light and fluffy.
- Add little vanilla essence and egg mixture and whisk together.
- In another bowl, add flour, tuitty fruity, caraway seeds, ginger powder, cinnamon powder, baking powder and mix well.
- Shift the flour mixture in the butter mixture and slowly fold together well. Spoon the mixture into the greased cake tin.
- Place the cake tin in the Philips Airfryer and bake for about 15 minutes at 180 degree centigrade.
- After 15 minutes, remove the tray, insert a skewer in the cake and if it comes out clean take it out and cool.
- Remove the lining sheet and sprinkle some powdered sugar over before cutting.
