Talikala payasam is traditional recipe made especially on Ganesh festival .
- Take a bowl, add around half cup of jaggery and water, mix it till this is dissolve.
- Then add whole wheat flour, mix like a dough. Divide the dough into small portions and convert them into noodles shape, keep it aside.
- Heat water in a pan, add jaggery, crushed fennel seeds. When jaggery dissolves, add hand made noodles.
- When it comes to a boil, reduce the flame and cook on a slow flame for 10 minutes.
- Now, fry the cashew nuts and almond in a hot ghee till they turn to light brown in color.
- In the noodles, add cardamom powder, coconut powder, cashew nuts, and almonds, even add rice flour for thickening and put the lid on for 1 minutes then switch off the flame.
