Cooked sorakaya (bottle gourd) mixed with grounded peanuts and chili makes a tasty gravy based curry to have with plain rice.
- Wash Sorakaya and cut it into small/medium size pieces.
- Add groundnut in a pressure cooker and leave it for 4 to 5 whistle, then filter water from groundnut and take groundnut separately.
- Fry small amount of groundnut without oil in a pan and remove the skin from it and make a powder (Not smoothly)
- Cut Onions and tomatoes as ur wish.
- Take a pan add some oil once oil gets heated add mustard seeds, curry leaves, onions, and tomatoes.
- Once onions and tomatoes fried well, add salt, Turmeric Powder, Coriander Powder, Red Chilly Powder and add water (4-5 glass).
- Once the water boiled added sorakaya and groundnut together and cook it well.
- After sorakaya cooked well add groundnut powder, smashed garlic and very little bit hing.
- Cook it for few minutes and garnish it with coriander leaves
- You can eat this pulusu with rice and dosa.
