Soy rice pulav (or Pilaf) is north Indian staple dish. Tasty and healthy biryani with soya granules.
- Cut raw tomato into two pieces.
- Take a mixie jar and blend green chilies, fresh coconut and blend into a fine paste.
- Heat oil and add peppercorns, cinnamon stick, bay leaf, cardamom. cloves and saute it.
- Add onions, curry leaves, mint leaves, ginger garlic paste, salt and saute it for a minute.
- Add turmeric powder, soya chunks, raw tomato, green peas, paste and saute it.
- To it add water and check for seasoning, boil it.
- Add rice, cook it on high flame with lid on it, later reduce flame and cook until rice is done.
