Description

This is a really simple recipe for deliciously sour mango rice by Divya Chezhian1. Cook rice with 1 tsp of salt. Rice should not be too soft; they need to separate like it is done for pulao 2. Peel and grate green mangos and keep aside 3. Heat oil in kadai. Add mustard, urad daal, chillies, curry leaves and fry for 30 secs 4. Add chopped onions and fry until transparent 5. Add mangos, turmeric, asofoetida and cook for 5-10 mins until mangos are soft 6. Add salt and cook for 2 mins and remove from heat 7. Add cooked rice, mix well and garnish with coriander leaves.
