Ingredients used in Pani poori - Golgappa
• Pepper powder - 1 tea spoon.
• Cumin powder - 1/2 tea spoon.
• Coriander powder - 1/2 tea spoon.
• Salt - to taste.
• Black salt - 1 tea spoon.
• Tamarind pulp - 1 cup.
• Chilli powder - 1/2 tea spoon.
• Green chilies (chopped) - 2 numbers.
• Coriander leaves - 1 bunch.
• Mint leaves (chopped) - 1/2 bunch.
• Chickpea (boiled) - 1 cup.
• Potatoes (boiled and chopped) - 1 number.
• Tomatoes (chopped) - 1 number.
• Sugar - 1/2 tea spoon.
• Ginger (optional) - 1 slice.
• Curd - as required.
• Water - 1 litre.
Method:
  • In a bowl add water, tamarind pulp, black salt, coriander powder, cumin powder, salt, pepper powder, red chili powder, mix well.
  • Then add chopped green chilies, mint leaves, coriander leaves, chopped ginger(optional) in a dinchik, make a paste and add to the earlier water, mix well.
  • Now, serve this with poori by using your preferred stuffing. In general, served mostly with boiled potatoes, chickpea, curd, or mint or tomato ketchup later dip in prepared paniand enjoy this homemade panipoori.

Pani Puri creates a fantastic presentation and it is simply exciting to eat. It is made of some basic ingredients, chana, moong beans and potato mixed with chat masala along with spicy ingredients. Chopped pudhina is sprinkled over the thick masala gravy. It is possible to replace other beans that you've available as well. You place these inside of a puri and add chutney and “pani.” Pani means here a distinctively flavored water.

  • In Goa, Gujarat, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu, refer to it ‘Pani Puri’.
  • In West Bengal, it is actually widely known as ‘Phuchka’.

 Positives and Negatives of Pani Puri:

Advantages are pani puri aids you to heal mouth ulcers, additionally, it provides comfort from acidity.

Drawbacks are: Pani puri generally is a high source of fat affiliated calories. Pani puri isn't a food of high satisfied benefit.

Wats wrong with people!! yogurt in puris (dahi puri) is a very popular version in and around delhi. Ignorance is what the problem is. Some people are just born to say something negative about everything!! sad!!
