Shrimp in Cream Sauce is an awesome, mild, delicate seafood curry made with ridge gourd, bell peppers and shrimps cooked in a creamy sauce. This dish is full of exotic flavours and has a creamy texture coated with subtle spices engulfed around the shrimps and the veggies. The veggies are just cooked to the right time keeping the crunchiness in the ridge gourd and bell peppers intact while the inside being soft and juicy. The shrimp too cooked in the cream sauce has a tantalizing and luscious tang that erupts on bite.
An alluring and scrumptious dish that goes well over a plate of pasta, noodles, macaroni or rice! The combination of sautéed garlic, pepper powder, oregano and parsley intensifies the essence in this dish giving a fantastic zest to the sauce. It is normally seasoned well in the cream sauce not overpowering the shrimp flavour. Garlic makes a wonderful seasoning adding lots of aroma and taste to the dish. Saffron is another key ingredient that offers a pleasing and striking colour to the shrimp in cream sauce.

Garlic Native to central Asia, garlic is one of the oldest cultivated plants in the world and has been grown for over 5000 years. Ancient Egyptians seem to have been the first to cultivate this plant that played an important role in their culture. It is often recommended using raw chopped or pressed garlic in many of the dishes to take advantage of the benefits derived from garlic. However, if you cannot tolerate raw garlic, you can add chopped garlic to foods while they are cooking. It is best to add it towards the end of the cooking process to retain the maximum amount of flavour and nutrition.
Parsley Parsley is the most aromatic, delicious and vibrant taste with wonderful healing properties. It is often ignored in its popular role as a table garnish.
