In India, they are extensively used in Mughlai and Hyderabadi cuisines to make their gravies and curries rich in taste. The almond or badam paste is the base ingredient to various pasanda or qorma style curries. Almonds are also used for preparing a very popular and rich dish namely Badam Halwa. Almond flakes are also often added to garnish an array of sweets such as sohan burfi, kaju katli, laddus etc which are usually visible over the outer surface.
Almonds can be eaten on their own, raw or roasted. They are power-packed with amazing health benefits. They are good source of vitamins, minerals, protein and fiber. I liked this segment. However I did find it very long though, and I skipped through to the instructional parts. Lastly, I didnt like that the kids were so scripted?
