Ingredients used in Crispy ChickenThreads
• Ginger & garlic chopped - 1 tablespoon.
• Sugar - 1/2 tea spoon.
• Red chili flakes - 2 teaspoons.
• Corn starch - 1 tablespoon.
• Pepper powder - 1/2 tea spoon.
• Salt - to taste.
• All purpose flour - 1/4 cup.
• Chicken breast - 1 number.
• Soya sauce - 1 tablespoon.
• Lime juice - 1 tea spoon.
• Coriander (chopped) - 1 tablespoon.
• Oil - to fry.
Method:
  • Take chicken breast piece cut them into thin slices.
  • In a bowl add all purpose flour, salt, pepper powder, cornstarch mix it and sprinkle with chicken slices on both sides.
  • Then cut them into thin juliennes.
  • In the hot oil deep fry the chicken juliennes till golden color.
  • For the sauce: heat oil in a pan add red chilly flakes, chopped ginger andgarlic, sugar, salt, Soya sauce, lime juice and add crispy chicken, garnish with chopped coriander.

Recipe of Chicken Crispy Threads (Chinese style):

Ingredients:

  1. Chicken                           -       200 gms
  2. All-purpose flour          -       1 tbsp
  3. Salt                                   -       to taste
  4. Pepper powder              -       ½ tsp
  5. Cornstarch                     -       1 tbsp
  6. Red chili flakes             -       ½ tsp
  7. Sugar                                -       ½ tsp
  8. Ginger garlic, chopped     -       1 tbsp
  9. Soya sauce                       -       1 tbsp
  10. Lime juice                        -       1 Tsp
  11. Coriander, chopped       -       1 bunch
  12. Oil                                      -       2 tbsp

Directions:

  1. Take chicken breast pieces and cut them into very thin slices.
  2. Take a bowl and add all-purpose flour, salt, pepper powder, cornstarch, mix well and sprinkle over the chicken on both sides. Now cut them into very thin juliennes.
  3. Heat oil in a kadai, and when it becomes hot, drop the chicken juliennes and deep fry until golden in color and crisp.
  4. For the sauce: Heat oil in a pan, add red chili flakes, chopped ginger and garlic, salt, soya sauce, lime juice and add in the crispy chicken and toss well.
  5. Garnish with finely chopped coriander leaves.
  6. Serve hot.
