Ingredients used in CRUM QUICHE
• Fat free crackers powder - 1 cup.
• Milk - 1/2 cup.
• Egg (beaten) - 5 number.
• Garlic - 2 pound.
• Chicken pieces (boiled with seasoning) - 100 grams.
• Beetroot (chopped) - 2 tablespoons.
• Carrot (chopped) - 2 tablespoons.
• Potatoes (boiled) - 2 numbers.
• Onions (finely chopped) - 1 numbers.
• Coriander - 1/2 bunch.
• Green chilies - 3 numbers.
• Pepper powder - 1 tea spoon.
• Salt - to taste.
Method:
  • In a bowl, add fat free crackers powder, milk, egg, mix well and make it into a dough.
  • Now roll the dough like a chapatti, put it in a quiche molds and remove the edges.
  • In a bowl, add finely chopped garlic, boiled chicken pieces, grated beetroot, chopped carrot, boiled potatoes, onions, coriander leaves, green chilies, pepper powder, salt and mix well then put this mixture in quiches.
  • In another bowl, put egg, milk and salt and beat it then pour this in quiches.
  • Bake the quiches in oven at 180 degrees for 20-30 minutes and serve it.

How to prepare Crumb Quiche:

Ingredients:

  1. Fat Free Crackers powder   -       1 cup
  2. Milk                                          -       ½ cup
  3. Egg, beaten                             -       5 nos
  4. Garlic                                       -       2 nos
  5. Chicken pieces                       -       100 gms
  6. Beetroot, chopped                 -       2 tbsp
  7. Carrot, chopped                     -       2 tbsp
  8. Potatoes, boiled                      -       2 nos
  9. Onions, finely chopped         -       1 no
  10. Coriander leaves, chopped   -       ½ bunch
  11. Green chillies, finely chopped  -       3-4 nos
  12. Pepper powder                         -       1 tsp
  13. Salt                                             -       to taste

Directions:

  • In a bowl, add fat free crackers powder, milk, egg and mix well to make dough.
  • Now roll the dough like a chapatti and place in a quiche mould and trim the edges.
  • For the filling, in a bowl, add finely chopped garlic, boiled chicken pieces, beetroot, carrot, boiled potato cubes, onions, coriander leaves, green chillies, pepper powder, salt and mix all ingredients well.
  • Fill the quiche moulds with this mixture.
  • In another bowl, beat eggs, add little milk and salt. Mix well and pout this egg mixture over the quiche filling.
  • Bake the quiche in the oven at 180 degree C for 20-30 minutes and serve hot.

Looks wonderful! But to be fair, eggs and chicken do have some fat. I think 'no added oil or butter or cheese' would be more accurate. Great as always!?
