Methi paratha is an Indian flaky, flat bread made up of whole wheat flour and fenugreek greens or methi leaves.
- Take a bowl and wheat flour, salt, oil and mix it adding water bit by bit and make a soft dough and rest it for 10 minutes.
- In a pan add oil, cumin seeds, green chilies, onion, salt, crushed garlic, fenugreek leaves, cumin powder, pepper powder and saute it until fenugreek leaves get soft.
- Add dry mango powder and cook it well.
- Roll out one portion of the dough using a little whole wheat flour for rolling.
- Place one portion of the methi stuffing in the center of the circle, bring together all the sides of the center and seal tightly.
- Roll out again into parata using a little whole wheat flour for rolling.
- Roast both sides on a dry tawa and then fry them with little oil.
